SONG WRITING
Marco’s song writing themes are drawn from his own experiences and his ‘sound’ is influenced by time spent studying, performing and recording in the USA. He writes for himself, for his students and takes commissions.
The songs he writes for schools are largely to entertain and engage his young audience whilst developing their ukulele skills. As a children's songwriter Marco has been published by Out of The Ark Music Ltd.
His other songs are drawn from the people and events that have shaped his life. He has released three EPs: ‘Big Sky’ in 2008 for UK charity Dreams Come True; ‘The Nashville Sessions’ in 2012 which was produced by Kim Copeland at Ragtop Studios, Music Row, Nashville; and 'Please Don't Ask' released in 2021.
